Scott Crossman Dempster, age 51, passed away on March, 24, 2015. He is loved and remembered for his generosity of spirit, kindness, humor and creativity (especially with a hammer and a nail). Scott was a man that brought people together; he was an angel on earth as he is in heaven.

Scott Crossman Dempster, age 51, passed away on March, 24, 2015. He is loved and remembered for his generosity of spirit, kindness, humor and creativity (especially with a hammer and a nail). Scott was a man that brought people together; he was an angel on earth as he is in heaven.

Born in Watertown, New York on October 30, 1963, Scott graduated from Watertown High School in 1981. He lived in Jackson, MS, for many years and owned a successful business, Sunrise Construction, with a long list of clients and friends. Scott was an avid outdoorsman, competitive range shooter, and a member of the Magnolia Rifle and Pistol Club.

Scott is survived by his brothers R. Bruce, Wilmington, NC, and Mark W., Watertown, NY; sister Pamela Bowman (David), Morristown, NY; nephews Brian Dempster, Travis Bowman, and Matthew Bowman; niece Brianna Wilson; great nieces Alyssa, Alaynah and Ella Bowman, Jenna and Kayla Wilson, and great nephew Cyris Bowman.

Scott was preceded in death by parents, Bruce E. and Rita M. Dempster; brother Brian and niece Melissa Bowman.

Relatives and friends are welcome to celebrate Scott's life and join a memorial service at Parkway Funeral Home in Ridgeland, MS, on Tuesday March 31, 2015 @ 11:00am preceded by visitation @ 10:30. Burial will be at Sanford Corners Cemetery in Calcium, NY, for family and friends back home in Upstate New York.
